With Abbott focused on health and wellness, TSMGI recommended endurance sports sponsorship as an ideal marketplace for Abbott. Fast forward to the present day, where TSMGI continues to serve as Abbott's agency of record managing their global title sponsorship of the Abbott World Marathon Majors (AbbottWMM) marathon series.
OUR ROLE
Since the program's inception, TSMGI's role has continued to expand as we further integrate into the Abbott organization. In our current capacity, we provide a wide variety of services including sponsorship management, strategic consultation, event planning and execution, creative/design services, and promotional merchandising. Although TSMGI serves Abbott as an outside agency, our partnership has allowed us to function more as an arm of their broader marketing team. We work cross-functionally with Abbott's creative, social/digital, public relations, and advertising teams to ensure a lock-step approach to Abbott's sponsorship platform.
